Hiking |
I enjoy hiking. The San Francisco Bay ara has so many sites an hiking areas within a 30-60minute drive. Here are some of my latest pictures while hiking in Vail, Co. 1999. |
Camping |
When I first moved to California my idea of camping involved packing up my motorcycle and head off in a direction with a few friends. We drove California back roads all day and camped in the National forest by night. My friend's saying was "This is California you don't need tent". Well that worked out. for at least a few years. I done tent camping since I was a kid in scouts. My idea of camping now includes my RV fully equiped with a shower, AC / heater, Microwave, Stove/ oven, Cofee, Sattelite TV, Refrigerator/freeze and a great sterio. |
Motorcycling |
I have been on two wheel since birth.
(well almost) My first bike was a 1100cc Yamaha. It was a
sport touring bike. For my first bike I was a great
start. I drove a couple of different Harleys but they
weren't for me. I had to move up to a true sport bike. (does it look 14 yrs
old) The Japanese bikes can take the abuse and last
forever. Well I hope so anyway. California also has may off road recreational parks where I can play on my Honda CR500 which also has as many years on it as my street bike. The dirt bike has about the same power and 300lb lighter as my street bike. |
Bicycling |
I also enjoy the quiet 2 wheel excitement too. Eventhough I am not in to cycling for the speed I can enjoy a simple tour down the the trails throught the Bay area. I also find the time to go cycling on my business trips too. It is kind of funny that the rentals bikes are better bicycles than I own. |
Too many others |
I have been weight lifting since highschool. I played
football and enjoyed staying in shape ever since. Well I
also try to squeeze into my leasure time rollerblading
and running. Every once in a while I get back to thing I
had more time to do when I was a kid.
Some of the other things I would like to try are:
